One of those dream assignments: Lloyds Of London, a huge British institution. With inspiring brand guidelines, stunning photography and a beautiful typeface to work with.

All in all, the perfect job.

Lloyds annually publish their guide to future finance, Blueprint. The first iteration was an interactive document which was very confusing for the user. My brief was to work with a copywriter to distill the information and present it in bite sizes via a dedicated website.

The brief, in a single word, was simplify. A bold design, let the typography breathe, condense information and use colour confidently. The brand palette was amazing, and the imagery helped bring this to life.

I was paired with one of the developers at Lloyds, who was a joy to collaborate with, and we put some lovely parallax movement into the site. Coloured highlights emphasised key points in text as the user scrolled.

Infographics were animated simply and effectively.
